Season 1 of Mourners of Lhazaar is wrapping up this week. It’s been a wild 23 episodes of highs, lows, drama, shenanigans, and everything in-between — and we want to hear from you! Got questions about the campaign, characters, what-ifs, or anything else? Ask them here or on Twitter and we’ll answer as many as we can on a special Gold Dragon Fireside Chat looking back on Season 1, where we started, and where we’re going.
While you wait for Wednesday’s season finale, here’s a little treat to tide you over: artwork by the amazing Matthew Johnson. In this scene, set between the events of episodes 13 and 14 (“Red Line Overload” and “Bound Together”), Daina comes face-to-face with the choice she has to make once and for all: to honour the past and those she left behind by honouring the present and those who are with her in the here and now. Matthew is a wonderful guy, and I am absolutely blown away by all the little details he inserted here to tell the story of this scene to its fullest. You can find him on ArtStation and Twitter. Happy sailing!
